Not A Favourite!

Kylie Minogue has threatened a Twitter follower, saying she is fed up and has called the cops.

Early this morning Kylie Minogue made it clear that she had had enough of a particular Twitter follower who she says has been making threats. She used the social medium to say she had contacted the police.

The pop star tweeted: "I love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threats #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial SO..police alerted."

It is not the first time that Kylie has suffered the attention of an unstable follower.

Back in 2003, she received over 700 anonymous letters. A source speaking to The Sun at the time said the letters, sent to her London residence, initially seemed polite. Then they changed. To begin with they were just like ordinary ones from fans, but then they became really aggressive.

Kylie can at least find comfort from the fact that she is not alone.

Last month, Ashton Kutcher went on the offensive against a hacker who had broken into the star's Twitter account.

Among a string of threats, Kutcher tweeted: "I'm coming for you my friend... #hacker."

Kylie appears to be getting on with things though. While receiving a barrage of support from her other 1, 033, 861 lovers, Kylie chose to focus on her retrospective. A few hours later she posted a 1990 image of herself, complete with elaborate eyeliner.

She included the following with the picture: "Thx 4 all ur #K25blastfromthepast pics...Keep 'em coming all year! I'll leave you with this 1990? #discoveredeyeliner."

Over the last couple of months, Kylie has been re-recording classics from her catalogue and releasing them on the internet, including a version of Finer Feelings recorded at Abbey Road.
