TV Time For Sarah
And Szubanski

Sarah Murdoch and Magda Szubanski are set to be making an appearance on our small screens. To be sure, such activity is not new for them. The show’s, however, are.

Channel Ten has been in copy-cat mode of late - copying the breakfast format of its commercial competition. Now it is set to bring in its own dance show, and in a wise move – given the success of her previous shows – has brought Sarah Murdoch in to host the show.

Sarah seems unable to keep away from our screens, even when she quits. Earlier this year she parted ways with Australia’s Next Top Model. Now reports say she will be Ten’s new talent host for Everybody Dance Now.

The show is expected to air later this year. It will see dancers of all ages and styles – such as solo dancers, duos, groups, professional and amateur – competing for a $250,000 cash prize.

Auditions are currently happening across the country. According to TV Tonight, however, there has been no confirmation nor denial about whether Sarah will definitely host.

While Sarah may be hosting, Magda Szubanski is to make a guest appearance.

The TV personality and actor will make a cameo showing on Ten’s new reality show, I Will Survive.

The program follows the travails of hopefuls as they show off their triple skills in singing, dancing and acting. The reward: the starring role of drag-queen Tick in the theatrical version of Priscilla. A knack for drag is clearly a prerequisite.

"What people will love about this show is the entertainment factor -- the gays know how to put on a show," Magda said.
