Keith Urban and Lady Gaga are ensuring the Australian music scene is enfused with their presence. One recently announced a world tour; another just touched down in Sydney.

Keith Urban's Australian TourKeith Urban is set to make his fans happy with the news he will be performing a world tour next year. The first stop will be Queensland.

The tour, "Keith Urban: The Story So Far," will begin over the Australia Day long-weekend. Keith will play two gigs in Brisbane.

Melbourne and Sydney will follow shortly after.

"Being such a Queenslander at heart, I'm stoked we can start the Australian tour in Brisbane, I reckon its gonna go off. Can't wait to tour again," Keith said.

"New music, new show, I know we’re gonna have a blast!! Really looking forward to playing to a rowdy summer crowd!" he said.

Tickets are on sale from the beginning of next week.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has just arrived in Sydney. Frocked up in a bejeweled dress, with sunglasses and teal hair, she appeared outside the Park Hyatt Hotel and took some snaps with fans.

The Mother Monster has just finished three gigs in Brisbane, and will be heading off to Melbourne and Perth after her three shows in Sydney.

The singer, having already achieved infamy in Indonesia, has found herself in hot-water with Thailand. The Thai cultural ministry has complained about her use of the country’s flag during her show. The singer appears in Thai headdress, a bikini and on a motorcycle with the flag attached to the vehicle.

The ministry said the act was "not appropriate and hurt the feelings of the Thai people." The ministry is seeking to enact legal action.
