Dina Lohan's messy Dr Phil interview

Lindsay Lohan’s mum Dina opened up on Dr Phil this week, but not without a lot of criticism about being absolutely off her rocker during the taping.

While Dina insists that she was completely sober during the interview, her comments and strange behaviour suggest otherwise.

During the hour-long interview, Dina fidgeted, repeatedly asked if the cameras were rolling and seemed pretty confused and uncomfortable throughout.

"It’s so quiet in here," she commented at one point.

Dr Phil brought up some pretty heavy baggage during the interview, including her alleged abusive marriage to Michael Lohan and her daughter Lindsay’s troubled past.

During one part of the interview, 49-year-old Dina got fed up with the whole thing and gave the cameras the finger when Dr Phil talked about her being the world’s worst mother. Ouch!

Unhappy with how Dina was avoiding his questions, Dr Phil said, "What you have done is distinguished yourself in the negative, you have come on here and been phony and inauthentic."

That’s when Dina got really annoyed and put up both her middle fingers to the cameras and said a pretty unapologetic "sorry".

It all got a bit messy at this point, and it all looked terribly uncomfortable for both Dr Phil and Dina.

Seemingly fed up with how the interview was going, Dina shot back at Dr Phil with tears in her eyes and said, "Look at you, you’re in your little tie and your little shoes…"

Dina’s ex-husband was also interviewed by Dr Phil via satellite during a different sitting. Awkward.

To make matters worse, when asked about Lindsay’s drinking and drug abuse, Dina blamed it all on the Los Angeles lifestyle.
